Leather corals (genera Sarcophyton, Lobophytum, Sinularia) are hardy, fast-growing soft corals ideal for beginner reef keepers, known for their leathery texture, polyp-covered surfaces, and, for some species, a toadstool-like shape. They require moderate to high light, moderate to strong water flow, and thrive in reef tanks.
