The Brichardi Cichlid, also known as the Lyretail Cichlid or Fairy Cichlid, is a popular Lake Tanganyika cichlid. They are characterized by their elegant, lyre-shaped tail and pearlescent bodies, often with dark markings behind the gills. They are known for their complex social structures and form colonies, aggressively defending their territory and offspring. They require a rocky aquascape with plenty of caves and hiding spots.
