About

The Clown Loach is a vibrantly colored freshwater fish known for its distinctive orange body with three broad black bands. They are peaceful, social, and playful, often observed 'sleeping' on their sides, which can alarm new owners. They are excellent at controlling pest snail populations and thrive when kept in groups of at least 5-6 individuals. They are bottom-dwellers and appreciate plenty of hiding spots and soft substrate.
