A vivid orange-red dwarf marine angelfish with vertical black bars and blue-edged dorsal and anal fins. It grazes algae and benthic foods and stays close to reef shelter. Like other Centropyge, individuals vary in coral-nipping behavior and are best considered reef-safe with caution.
