The Giant Danio is a very active, schooling fish known for its elongated, silver-gold body with iridescent blue or green stripes. They are hardy and robust, making them a good choice for active community tanks. Due to their high energy levels, they require plenty of swimming space and are best kept in groups of at least six individuals to thrive. They appreciate a tank with good flow and open areas, along with some planted sections for security.
