About

Julidochromis marlieri is a rock-dwelling Lake Tanganyika cichlid that remains close to crevices and caves. It is a microfeeder rather than a specialized predator, and pairs commonly breed in rock crevices. It is territorial around its own territory and breeding sites but can coexist with appropriately chosen Tanganyikan species in a suitably structured aquarium.
