The L046 Zebra Pleco is a highly sought-after freshwater fish renowned for its striking black and white striped pattern. Native to the Rio Xingu in Brazil, these plecos are relatively small, preferring fast-flowing, oxygen-rich waters with plenty of hiding spots among rocks and caves. They are nocturnal and can be somewhat shy, requiring a well-established aquarium with excellent water quality. They are primarily carnivorous, feeding on small invertebrates and biofilm in their natural habitat.
