L240 is an Orinoco vampire/galaxy pleco in the Leporacanthicus galaxias complex. It is a protein-oriented bottom feeder with enlarged teeth typical of the genus, reaching roughly 25–30 cm. It needs strong filtration, high oxygen, caves and enough floor space to manage territorial behavior toward other large plecos.
