About
The Red Terror Cichlid is a large, highly aggressive, and strikingly colored freshwater fish native to South America. Known for its brilliant red and orange coloration, especially in males, and its robust body, this cichlid requires a very spacious aquarium. It is extremely territorial and will dominate most tank mates, making it suitable only for very experienced aquarists with species-specific or large, aggressive cichlid setups. They are intelligent and can recognize their owners.
