About
Sturisoma, commonly known as Twig Catfish, are unique Loricariid catfish native to South America. They are renowned for their elongated, flattened bodies and remarkable camouflage, blending seamlessly with driftwood and plant stems. These peaceful, bottom-dwelling fish are excellent algae grazers, consuming diatoms and biofilm. They require well-oxygenated, clean water with plenty of hiding spots and surfaces for grazing. They are a great addition to planted tanks.
