The Sulfur Head Peacock, also known as Aulonocara maylandi, is a vibrant and relatively peaceful cichlid from Lake Malawi. Males display brilliant blue bodies with striking yellow to orange coloration on their heads, earning them their common name. They are popular for their beauty and generally calm temperament compared to other Mbuna cichlids.
