Dragon Blood Peacock is a captive-bred Aulonocara aquarium line/hybrid selected for intense red-orange coloration. It does not represent a naturally occurring Lake Malawi population. Care should follow peacock-cichlid requirements: hard alkaline water, open swimming space with sand and rock structure, and attention to male territoriality.
